I didn't have any signal today so I called Sophon Cable. They told me that the government cut all channels and there's no idea when it will be restored. Same for their internet. Anyone know anything about this? 

Went off for a spell tis morning at my place, about 9am. Back on when I tried somewhat later.... inspired me to go for a swim!

Our village used Sophon Cable internet for some time until Jan 15th when we were all advised that they would no longer service our area due multiple cuts of cables by authorities in town and they were not prepared to keep replacing those cables. Many of us then switched to another service who don't seem to have that issue for some reason.

Who is the other service that you were able to get cable from?  Just now their truck came along and cut their connection box from the pole near my house. Seems like a long term action rather than planning to run more cables. I'm perplexed. What is one supposed to do without any TV channels here?
