INN followed up after the tragedy in Sikhio district of Nakhon Ratchasima in which 11 people died and one passenger was injured when an LNG van exploded in a ditch on the Mitraphap (Friendship) Highway last month.

The OIC, a supervisory and promotion organisation for insurance companies in Korat said that compensation payments would be made to the 11 deceased.

Director Manee Waiyaphat said that she was still waiting on official reports from the Police Hospital that would inform death certificates.

A policeman involved in investigating the case said that things should be resolved in the next seven days.

INN followed up
