webfact Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Daily News Caption: 4 hurt in head on collision Daily News reported on an accident in the rain in Trat, eastern Thailand. A mother and child were travelling home in a pick-up when they skidded and spun and collided head on with another pick-up coming in the opposite direction. Pol Capt Bunma Thathong of the Muang Trat police got a report about the accident at a bend near Wat Wiwek Wararam on Sukhumvit Road in Noen Sai sub-district. At the scene was an Isuzu with severe damage to its front. The male driver and a female passenger were injured. The other vehicle was a Ford Ranger that ended up in water by the roadside. A mother and child were injured in that vehicle. All were taken to a nearby hospital. Locals who saw what happened said the Ford was going in the direction of Klong Yai in heavy rain. It was a very brief shower however. Their vehicle lost control at a bend and crossed lanes into the path of the oncoming Isuzu. They said it was a blackspot for accidents in the rain just like this one or when cars simply spin off the road. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-02-04 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Pique Dard Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 in my opinion, at the sight of the car wrecks, one the drivers - or maybe both- thought he/she was lewis hamilton or michael schumacher 1

Driver did not lose control..... Typical Thai driver too lazy to stay in their own lane when turning or going around a curve in the road. Happens all the time, they cannot stay in their own lane. 3

2009 Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 In a country of adolescents, driving should not be allowed.

Yeah, but I bet they didn't say that while the were driving along the pavement or up the wrong side of the road. Or tailgating an inch from the bumper at 120km/h
