Clickbait of the day? The controversial grumpy old men, a thing of the past, isn't it?

Have many expat friends here, age 50-70+. All are happy about their life here, no moaning all day long.

 

Wqrm climate, beautiful ladies half their age, cheap  condos to buy or rent, cheap electric, delicious thai food, and the list goes on.

 

Life is what one make it to be, all about attitude. It helps to compare with the life of the guys back home.

It seems it doesn't matter if there are 10 or 1,000 videos out there. New arrivals, and people who think after a few months that they know it all, make the same mistakes again and again.

If they are doing these videos for a bit of fun good luck to them. If they are doing them in order to try and make a few bob, I doubt that all the luck in the world is going to help much.

I know a grump old man, married to a Thai woman.   He doesn't live in Thailand.   My brother in law!

Now, in my house, the grumpy old person is my Thai wife!

I don't know what to make of this.  This Steve Rosse character talks a mile a minute.  I agree that holding back six months to a year before investing is a good idea.  My Thai wife is two years older than me, and I'm 73.  That thing about not talking Thai at home is so true.  That, my bad hearing, and not learning more Thai language is also so true.  I think I'm sliding backward as I try to remember new words and most escape me.  Chuwit's "Ai sak" should never be spoken in public.
