British and Korean arrested by Pattaya police after attack and theft at prominent marijuana shop

Siam Rath reported that the Pattaya police chief Pol Col Thanapong Photi along with the provincial police and an international crime section arrested two foreigners in connection with an assault and theft from a marijuana shop at the resort at the weekend.

 

Arrested on charges of trespass and theft were Mr Markus, 47, a British national and Myoung, 52, a Korean.

 

It is alleged that on Saturday night at around 11.20 pm the pair went to the THC weed shop in Moo 9 on Sai 3.

 

Owner Parinya Pansing told the police that Namil Kim, a shareholder in the business, was attacked before his wallet containing 5,000 baht was stolen.

 

This was allegedly done by the Korean suspect.

 

Then the British man stole a safe containing 170,000 baht and the pair left.

 

All this was caught on CCTV leading to arrest warrants for the pair.

 

An Irish man called Mark, 53, has also been detained as it is believed he may also be involved in the crime in some way.

 

He is under investigation.

Well in the bright side they didn't need to jump off the balcony.  They will get some free food and lodging.  Maybe they didn't expect the co-owner to be there and thought it would be easy free weed and they were surprised and all hell broke loose and then they beit figured 5k wasn't enough?   They should sure may have been high and desperate for more. 

Don't forget they do a facial recognition picture when you arrive and use china's ID software.
