Three Foreign Customers in Patong Child Sexual Exploitation Case Arrested, Three Escape

Patong – Three foreign customers have been arrested while three other foreign customers have escaped in a child sexual exploitation case in Patong.

 

‘Big Joke’, the popular self-embraced nickname of the Assistant Commissioner of Police Surachate Hakparn, arrived in Phuket on Thursday night (March 30th) to follow up on the case.

 

Big Joke told The Pattaya News that after an investigation they issued arrest warrants for six foreigners.

Guilty or not, I would imagine the chances of any country sending them back are pretty low to a junta led country

many Westerns countries now have provisions in their national that allow their citizens to be prosecuted for sexual exploitation of minors. If not send back to Thailand they can still be prosecuted in their own country.

All these Americans are screwed as their identity is known and will get prosecuted , it's just a matter of time. Whereas Saudi will be rewarded!

Yes, out of the U.S. involved in this activity is a U.S. federal crime 15 years in prison.  Hope they thought it was a good time what a stupid way to ruin your life forever.

Given they haven't been tried or found guilty of anything it seems harsh to publish their names in this way.  It would be interesting to know what evidence there is and whether these guys were specifically looking for underage or took underage whilst under the impression the girl was older.  Its a trivial matter to fake DoB on ID. Some years ago a friend of mine became involved with a waitress who told him she was 19.  It wasn't until many months later he found out she was actually 15!

How would the Thai authorities find the identity of these people? Also maybe they did not know the girls were underage. There is so much sex sold on Bangla road, do they not have plausible deniability?

Interesting and possibly more effective means of enforcement.  But it would seem like a good case for defamation if they are not found guilty.  It would seem likely they have cc'd and facial recognition as I think china's influence there is 110%>. But behind closed doors, possible fake IDs, it would have to only be the girls testimony.  I'm not defending or cordoning anything.  But these accusations  could really mess  up a guys life.  In udon thanni nears boys town or whatever that place is called I saw an underage looking gal being escorted out of a bar by a falang.  A cop was sitting in his big bike outside.   Against my dates advice I told the cop of my concern shrugged it off saying she was legal age, which maybe was the case.  Or was he on the take?
