British Man arrested for Raping Swedish Woman in Pattaya

In the afternoon of Tuesday 3rd July Pattaya Police Superintendent Police

Colonel Suthin Sappuang announced to the Media that the

Pattaya Police have

succeeded in capturing a British man who is suspected of raping a Swedish

woman.

With orders from the Royal Thai Police; 28 year old Benjamin Gardner was

arrested in his room in Soi Buakhao with a warrant issued at Koh Pha-Ngan

Island, Surat Thani Province since 5th February 2007.

Gardner denied all charges saying that since he has been in Thailand for 7

months he has never been to Koh Pha-Ngan Island because he is on a low

budget.

However, when the police went through his records it was found that Gardner

has been involved in many criminal activities back in the UK and fled to

Thailand 7 months ago as a tourist.

Earlier on 5th May, Gardner had been arrested once before for beating up a

bar girl and robbing her.

Pattaya Police transferred Gardner to Surat Thani police for further

proceedings because it is believed that he did have something to do with the

rape of the Swedish woman as informed.

Its scum like this that gives the rest of us law abiding citizins a bad name.

Lock him up and throw the key away, he deserves everything that is coming to him.

We should never judge a book by it's cover, but, boy, does this mother look like a rapist or not?.......Wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley at night, whether he's innocent or guilty of the charge against him. Again, ashamed to be British!
