housemaster online registration - our old link is missing the form.

Featured Replies

hi all,

there used to be a sign up for the housemaster (my wife) to be able to easily register me at our home (TM30) when we travel to Thailand

my wife is not registered yet, I would like to register her.

https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1690

but the sign up form is no longer there.

does anyone know of an online process and link to follow?

thanks in advance

As long as you return to the same address there is no need to file a "new" TM30.

OP is using an incorrect link.

Bamnutsak provided the correct one > https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/

And it is correct that you do not need to file a 'new' TM30 when returning to your 'official address for Immigration purposes'.  Filing of a new TM30 is only needed when the permission to stay or the extension of it, expired and the foreigner re-enters Thailand on a new Visa (or Visa Exempt).

You can also use the Section38 phone app.

If you can download it - Android 'phones are set as Thailand but it never shows up in Playstore searching under various combos of section38.

There is this link but I am leery of it.

https://apkcombo.com/section38/th.go.immigration.section38/download/apk

I get a warning when I click download on an android 'phone.

Assuming the issue is with geolocation (as opposed to an old/unsupported version of Android) you can create a new google account from without Thailand.

You can then switch between your current google account and new one when in the Play Store.

The new account should have access to the app you need.

I got it from the playstore when it first appeared. I only download from the playstore on my phone and I don't really trust the playstore. I wouldn't use one of these type of weblinks on my phone. That's just me.

I have PM-ed you a comprehensive Guideline document on

1 - How to register an address on the IO TM 30 website, and

2 - How to notify IO using that website when a foreigner is staying at that address, and downloading the TM 30 notification of having done that.

Yes. I can't find it now. I've created a new google account with location set to Thailand and still can't find it in the playstore. I have it installed on my android phone and using a backup/restore app, I can create an apk. If anyone wants the apk I can post it. In fact here it is.

There are various types of "geofencing" and for the download of some of their apps from Google Play Store, Thai immigration uses the most perfidious one, the "Country/Region" stored in the Google Pay Payment Profile. The problem with this is that this can be changed only once a year, at https://pay.google.com/gp/w/u/0/home/settings.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

IMHO it's more perfidious than that. I think they simply don't want us to use the app anymore.

Even if you have your Play Store country and payment profile set to Thailand it still won't come up in a search.

This is the URL for the app that I extracted using the Play Store's share function. Clicking on it will likely bring up a blank screen instead of the usual "this app is not available in your region" message.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=th.go.immigration.section38

Also, the app itself hasn't been updated since May 28, 2020. I find this unusual as apps need to be updated every so often to stay current.

Finally, they are not advertising it on immi.go.th hence why I reckon it's a sunset application that they hope will fade into the distance ????

I can confirm that this  registration link

https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/FilterNoLogonServlet?nodeId=24&programId=FNHOTELREG

is correct

once I was there it was all self explanatory (wife translating) for Thai language popups  -  as my Aussie passport is being renewed we used her Thai details to sign up, all went as expected, received sign up email, confirmed the link, changed the password, logged in successfully.

we are all set for when we arrive.

thanks to everyone that provided helpful assistance.
