Loei Immigration Officials Detain 7 Laotians for Illegal Entry and Visa Overstay

On April 27, under the command of officers including Major General Phakphum Satchaphan, Colonel Phanumats Bunlaks, and Colonel Pantha Nuchnanart, immigration officers and security forces conducted a joint operation.

They arrested the following individuals:

 

Mr. Jai Chaiyalad, a 22-year-old Laotian national, accused of being an undocumented foreigner in the kingdom with an expired permit for eight days.

 

Mr. Suk Chaiyalad, a 41-year-old of Laotian nationality, accused of being an undocumented foreigner with an expired permit for 110 days.


Mr. Jadtuphan Sihalad, a 28-year-old Laotian, accused of being an undocumented foreigner with an expired permit for 85 days.


Ms. Puna Buawongsa, a 20-year-old Laotian, accused of being an undocumented foreigner with an expired permit for 85 days.


Ms. Paengsi Chaiyalad, a 39-year-old Laotian, accused of being an undocumented foreigner with an expired permit for 21 days.


The arrests took place on the roadside between Ban Rai Muang and Ban Huay Luang Sai, in Nam Muan Subdistrict, Mueang Loei District, Loei Province.

The officers also jointly arrested:

 

Ms. Kung Singom, a 21-year-old Laotian, and
Ms. Nad Singom, a 22-year-old Laotian, both accused of being undocumented foreigners residing in the kingdom without permission (having entered the country illegally).

The arrest location was an unnumbered rental house in Moo 14, Ban Hua Naiyung, Dan Sai Subdistrict, Dan Sai District, Loei Province.

 

The suspects were taken into custody and handed over to Mueang Loei and Dan Sai police stations to proceed with legal actions, reported Siam Rath.
