Featured Replies

Has anyone in the Kingdom had experience with dental implants done in the country. Lost some teeth in an accident and lost me whistle as well. Don't expect a new whistle with the implants (but it would be nice).

I am interested in the sucess rate, the costs and the comfort experienced by anyone--please.

Thanks, I'll whithle a happy tune for you!

Hi there!

I haven't had an implant done myself but I've gotten a couple of root fillings.

In my opinion, the best place for doing any dental work in the Realm is at Chulalongkorn's special clinic (first floor) on Henri Dunant Rd.(คลินิกบริการทันตกรรมพิเศษ อาคารทันตรักษ์วิจัย ชั้น 1)

They are very professional.

While I was having a filling,I think I over-heard a dentist saying to a patient that a titanium implant costs around 30K baht and then it takes about 6 months for the implant to heal enough to attach the teeth! :D

What I've seen and experienced so far, there is no two tier pricing to make profits out of poor Farangs! :o

Check it out yourself by calling this Bangkok number 2188902-4. :D

Cheers and happy whistling. :D

Snowleopard.

I was told by a dentist in the states that I should steer clear of implants, I had the insurance and he could do the work, but he said that they were very high maint.and didnt like to reccomend them as they were not worth the trouble that they gave, like full deep cleaning quarterly, risk of developing Gingavitus in the implants and losing them after the expense, pain and trouble, So I just stuck with china clippers.have been happy with em for ever. :o
