Pol. Col. Anek Taosupap, deputy chief of Crime Suppression Division, said more witnesses were being questioned in the cyanide serial killing case which emerged when the family of Ms. Siriporn Khanwong, or Koi, 33, raised suspicions about her death during Songkran festival.

One of them is Mr. Rapee Chamnanrua, who coordinated with the victims in this case, while another is a nurse only identified as Ms. Nok, who works at a hospital in the Thonburi area and is the suspect’s close friend.

What a total sociopath! No chance of rehabilitation for such a personality type.

Poor unsuspecting folks. RIP.

Note to self: Make sure there is healthy looking repeat business at the Thai food outlets we frequent. Holy Moly !

20 people die and not one autopsy found the poisoning.  Like I have always said here,  if it "looks" like we did it,  then it was done.  Doesn't matter if it was done right.

I am not sure looking for cyanide poisoning would be a standard, unless suspicious circumstances were highlighted to the coroner. I have had  a few friends die here and the autopsy results did not suggest much effort.

A friend of mine died here and I strongly suspect his wife was behind it. I got his daughter who is half-Thai and lives in London to ask the hospital to check for poison and they said they do as a matter of routine (?) but found nothing. In other words, they couldn't be bothered.

Police investigating alleged serial killer Sararat “Am” Rangsiwuthaporn are seeking another 8 arrest warrants for murder, according to a Nation Thailand report. The 36 year old suspect, nicknamed “Cyanide Am” by some media outlets, is accused of using cyanide to poison people she had borrowed money from.

Anek Taosuparp from the Crime Suppression Division says Sararat is also facing 11 lawsuits from the victims’ families. He adds that officers already have enough evidence to link the suspect to 13 murders and 1 attempted murder.

It’s understood the victims include her common-law husband, who died on her birthday, and Anek believes the number of victims could continue to rise. He says that in the past 3 years, up to 20 people died shortly after transferring money to Sararat’s bank accounts.

I suppose she could plead insanity. No normal person becomes a serial killer.

It is seriously disturbed. And even more screwed up to think she'd get away with it long term with an MO like that 555.
