Rising Anti-Israel Sentiments in Pai Following Tourists Misconduct
Nothing new here. I have met Israeli tourists in Argentina behaving very badly and rude already 20 years ago. In some guesthouses there were signs not permitting admission to Israeli tourists. -

Bars in Thailand Set to Close This Week for Buddhist Holiday
As is the case on all Buddhist religious holidays in Thailand. Across the border here in Cambodia, the same religious ceremony is known as Meak Bochea Day with Buddhists visiting temples, however it is NOT a public holiday and the sale of alcohol is allowed. The bars and restaurants will be open as usual and, no doubt, many Khmers will enjoy a drink with a meal after visiting a temple. IMO Cambodia has the right idea. -

USAID - Dems in full delusional mode as usual
I laugh at your cultists blaming all the targeted items in any of these programs and acting like the dems are the ones that thought the programs up and where the only ones responsible to vote to approve the bills and the budgets. Last time I checked Congress as a whole is the only entity in the govt that has authority to approve or deny bills being passed with the president having signature or veto power. The cadre of fake political activist suddenly shocked and that want to clean everything up need to remember your party added to and voted for these programs just like the dems so you may want to consider that before you start pointing fingers of blame, there's a mirror waiting for you too. -

85% of Americans Willing to Raise Taxes to Save Social Security, Survey Shows
A flat tax of 1.5 - 2% on revenue would probably fix every nation's budget. Multinationals, corporations and billionaires can hide profits in a plethora of ways, they get a free ride compared to the average wage earner. Example: Transurban in Australia had a net profit of $46 million. It paid $136,000 in corporate tax. Its revenue was $4.6 billion. At a 2% tax rate, it would have paid $92 million. Revenue can't be hidden, fudged, or shuffled off to a low tax environment. One thing for sure, I would have been delighted to be paying only 2% tax in my peak earning years.
