Can i chip in with a few quetions and thanks in advance even if you do not answer ????

Which ones did you skip?

Have to apply for the first time for a single entry tourist visa 60 days and it's a bit confusing.

They ask for accommodations. Do they want all the booking we made? So far booked 7 different hotels on Samui/Koh Phangan.

Or just the first stay?

Confirmation of legal residence?

No idea what that is, since we don't get a residence card or anything here in Denmark.

We got our social security card with an address, will that do?

Passport pages for showing travel the last 12 months.

Travelled in Europe but no stamps, so just leave that one alone or show them a photo of empty pages in passport?

Applicant must apply for e-visa via specific Embassy/consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload

document that can verify his/her current residency?

Again that's not a thing here in Denmark other than printed on our social security card . Leave Blank or include social security card ?

Yeah i'm confused ????

Yes, it's confusing!!!

When applying for a SETV (in the US), you do NOT need Confirmation of Legal Address and any Passport pages other than the cover page with your photo. I'm assuming that if you're doing your application through the Thai Embassy in Denmark, and you have a Danish passport, no sort of proof of residency would be required. It wasn't required when applying through the Thai consulate in Chicago using my US passport.

For hotel booking, I sent only the confirmation for the hotel in Bangkok where we'll be spending the first few days. Afterward, we're staying at our daughter's house, and I didn't send anything for that.

Hope this helps.

  • You are being pedantic. Normally I would agree that anyone quoting visa on arrival you should correct them and tell them a visa on arrival is 15 days. In this case the OP clearly stated he was from th

Visa on Arrival only gives you 15 days and cannot be extended ????

the los angelas consulate took at least 2 weeks 10 working days, makes it difficult to plane how long to buy a plane ticket, really almost need to pland 6-8 weeks in advance, in case the paperwork isn't satisfactory IMO

at the airport, they asked questions about my long stay being longer than my visa, I had to explain about extensions, of which I'm guessing they know little about, which wasn't really nice to be questioned on.

Is it true that this is a glitch in the system(and it is not fixed?)?  , I answered every question, used the photo of statement I signed saying "this doesn't apply", which is kind of ridiculous, that it gets to this guessing game ,

can't wait for medical insurance to be added, I happen to buy my own via geoblue anyway, but really too many hoops for a TR
