Russia has accused Ukraine of trying to kill President Vladimir Putin in a drone attack on his residence in the Kremlin in Moscow.

Two drones were brought down by Russian air defences, according to Kremlin officials who said Mr Putin was not there at the time.

Ukraine has denied this, claiming that Russia staged the attack.

How could you kill Putin with such a small device detonating outside the building?

A cruise missile is the tool of choice.

It's known that Putin doesn't stay at the Kremlin too often. Just for official visits/events.

He has multiple offices with same layout/design. So if he appears on videos you can not easy guess where he is.

The Ukrainian front line is about 500(?) km from the Kremlin.

A drone started from there almost hitting the flagpole?

More likely started from inside Russia by domestic foes or collaborators.
Or simply staged to give justification for more rockets on Ukrainian cities (as seemed to have happened already?).

I just read another article that is seems Ukraine has drones with fixes wings which can fly up to 700km. So in theory it seems to be possible.

Does it make sense as an attempt to kill Putin? Not much.

But then, maybe it should just be a reminder for Putin and Russians that when you start a war with another country, then don't be surprised if they fight back - and not only on their own territory.

Now the Russians are trying to say the USA is involved obviously this is a false flag operation believe me if we went after mr Putin or the Ukrainian government did it would be with more than a toy store drone for crying out loud the Russians even suck at trying to create false flag stories lol
