preparing for tooth implants ?

Featured Replies

i am doing the top tier in 1 go and later the bottoms, so wondering what i need to be ready for no eating for a few months and whats t the pain like? and for how long ?

having GA before i proceed ..about 4 implants to cater for top tier

A properly done implant means extraction, 1-2 months of healing, screw and bone graft if necessary, another couple of months before final capping of the post.

Any thing faster runs the risk of failure at 40-50%. As described, less than 5%.

I have had three implants, no general anesthetic. Pain is only for 1-2 days at each stage.. Said implants have been in my mouth for about 8 years, still going strong.
