Judge dismisses Kari Lake’s final claim in election loss for Arizona governor

 A judge on Monday dismissed the only remaining legal claim in Republican Kari Lake’s challenge of her loss in last year’s race for Arizona governor, affirming the election of Democrat Katie Hobbs.

 

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter A. Thompson said Lake failed to prove her claim that Maricopa County did not verify signatures on mail ballots as required by law.

 

Lake was among the most vocal of last year’s Republican candidates promoting former President Donald Trump’s election lies, which she made the centerpiece of her campaign.

Following Trumps lead seems to be taking more and more people down the tubes. A sad state of affairs when these people have been conned into believing the mans rhetoric.  Can't wait t see if the prediction of her becoming his running mate become a reality.

I’m not buying they have been conned I think they are the ones pushing the conn to join grifting the rubes old Donnie has proven it to be a lucrative conn fleecing the rubes.Hopefully this will flush this one once and for all

She has said that she could not run for AZ US senator because she the governor.  Let's see how long that disassociation lasts.

She is DT's shining flagship of a MAGA-election denier, he has told other candidates to be more like her.

This was a wasted opportunity for the GOP. Hobbs was an amazingly poor candidate, they really had to dig deep to find someone who managed to lose to her.  Lake had all the image but none of the substance.

And so unusual for a Republican candidate to believe that Trump was robbed of his second term. Virtually unprecedented.
