"White Accommodation for Foreigners" project,

I dread to think what projects like this would be called for Indians, Africans, Chinese, or Japanese, old prince Philip would have loved it.

They just named it after a bird - similar to calling it 'Operation Pelican' or somesuch.'

You are mistaken. Although there is a species named Black Eagle, the focus of the policing action was definitely black foreigners.

Just RACIST. Why is Thailand getting away with this? If this happened in the uk  OMG the uproar,  the protest and riots.

Teflon Thailand. They even once got away with blowing up a Cathay Pacific jet!

A BIB was the prime suspect, and his acquittal, in Thailand of course, led to a frenzy of national rejoicing on the court steps. He eventually died of stomach cancer in the US, so there's that.

All sounds rather racist to me. Is their a black law also. What about Thai's. Are they all good law abiding citizens. I hear the Thai mafia have a base in Phuket. Are do they pay their way out like all good Thai citizens.

General Damrongsak Kittiprapas, the National Police Chief, inspected safety measures for foreign tourists at the Phuket Immigration Office

Presumably this includes overhead sunscreens for queing applicants to prevent the whites from turning dark.

Are they the same "dirty farang" that the Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is talking about?

(asking for a friend) . . .???????? ????

My guess is that this is just another example of their atrocious English knowledge and usage.

Possibly they had something like "White Listing" accommodation in their poor, half informed minds, when they sadly, inevitably made a total **** up of naming and presenting yet another.....sigh......."crackdown".

Why the **** can they not run this sort of thing past a native Anglophone, before they puke it out into the public sphere?

What can you say to them?

What can you say?

Even less incentive to revisit Foo-Kit in the future.

Corrupt Thais.

Racist Thais.

Overpriced and over-rated holiday destination.

Throw in hordes of Soviets.

What more could anybody want at the end of a £1,200 rip-off return flight ticket??

There might even be international criminals using Thailand as a base for illegal activities.

Really?

Who would have thought that.....

I suppose the average IQ at the top of the police force went up from 7 to 9 on this amazing piece of deduction.

Give that man a lollipop, shave his head and call him Kojak !!!

Having these little fat wanna bee's running around in their combat gear is nothing new in Phuket it's been going on for years, I knew one they would be roaming the streets at night if the police raided a bar they would be there as backup,

Phuket is known for being one of the most corrupt regions of Thailand.

Aren't these government officials not shy, at least, to announce these actions against criminals without looking at themselves?

As I said at the start of this post, Start at the airport then you can take your pick at any government department,

There is a Thai news outlet running a similar story to this, it gave more facts and figures and the areas they will be targeting, the midget was reading it out to me yesterday bit early in the morning here I'll find which one it was later,
