Moving from BKK (Chaeng Wattana) to HUa Hin soon

Featured Replies

I am on a Non-O Marriage Visa and we plan to move from BKK to Hua Hin soon. Appreciate if anyone can advise on the following:

1. Are the Immigration processes and procedures in Hua Hin Immigration exactly the same as those in Chaeng Wattna for Marriage Visa Extension? If not, please elaborate.

2. -ditto- for 90-day report and TM30 Notice of Address.

Thank you in advance for any pointers.

Here is old thread, however the OP lists what he provided and ubonjoe points out few things.

Assume that you previously did your annual extensions at CW.

Don't overlook doing a TM30 when you move to HH

Tks Dr Jack. As the old post was done in 2016, I think there will be changes since then. Anyone care to chip in?

When having moved from BKK to HuaHin, you are expected to notify the local Imm Office within 24 hours of your change of address by providing them with a TM-30 (and the underlying documents).  Most offices are not strict about the 'within 24 hours' but try to do it within the first week of your move.

When you do this in person, that would also be the ideal moment to ask for a document with the requirements for a 1-year extension based on your Non Imm O Visa (marriage) as applicable at the HuaHin Imm office.
