The time I rammed through a Thai police check-point was a lucky escape. (Seriously).

I managed to survive an alcoholic knife-throwing first missus that left more than physical scars.

Getting the shit kicked out of me in some Thai disco was a nice stay in a local hospital. Luckily, there were too many of the little scamps to do me any serious damage. (They were getting in each other's way too much). :o

Adventures With Alcohol #675.

LOL a trophy more like! Hang it on the wall! :D

I am hoping you mean the tank!

:D

When I get the camera charged up I will post a photo - could have been worse, could have punched a hole in the back of the tank instead

I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh. I have played cricket. :D

No visible scars from it, but my most painful Thailand incident happened in Phuket about 18 months ago.

After a session on the internet in a popular little place, I was hefting myself to my feet mainly using the arms of the chair to assist. (I'm not called Old Croc by chance) The combination of tiled floor, a multi-wheeled typists chair and my weight and clumsyness resulted in the chair flying backwards away from me. My right arm ended behind and above me in a configuration I knew was not good.

The place was packed, but all the tourists in the place only looked and then turned back to their computors leaving me sprawled on the floor. I think my size probably prevented both snickers and offers of assistance.

After getting to my feet I realised I had done some serious damage (couldn't lift the arm), but fortunately was only about 30 metres from a chiropractors shop. He worked on my shoulder for two hours and I think saved me from much more pain and disability with the joint. However, I couldn't use it properly for about a year.

A friend recently asked why I was pouring wine with my left hand. I find I now use my lefty for many things such as brushing my hair, drinking, etc.
