COVID-19 infection rate among under children less than a year old was 1,581 for every 100,000 of the population, followed by 647 for 100,000 of the population among people aged over 70.

From May 28th to June 3rd, there were 3,085 admissions to hospitals, or an average of 440 cases a day, representing an increase of 4% from the previous week.

386 were diagnosed with lung infections and 243 of them needed ventilators. The death toll was 68, or an average of 9 per day, 97% of whom were over 60 or had underlying diseases.

A number or percentage of under 12 month old fatalaties or serious illness caused by Covid might be helpful.

We have the 1,581 per 100,000 infections for under 12 month olds and 647 per 100,000 for over 70 year olds in the given period. There we 68 deaths of which 97% were over 60 years old or had underlying diseases..... 3% of deaths were below 60 years old and had no underlying diseases.

No reports on how many of the 3% were in the vaccine target group of under 1 year old.

It's hard to imagine many under 1's have underlying diseases.

I'm no anti vax, had 3 for work and travel but for the under 1's, i'm not sure unless there are underlying health problems.

Wow.  I guess if they will sit there and tell you a man can give birth with a straight face, saying kids are in danger of covid is an easy horror-porn to spin.

Kids are practically bulletproof to covid...and should be builidng a natural antibodies to it for when they get to their 60s (when 87% of all deaths start occurring "due" to covid).

from 2020-2023 in USA there were less than 9,000 deaths for anyone under the age of 29 TWENTY NINE! out of a total of 623,000 attributed to covid.

Less than 1,500 if under the age of 17.

But hey, the WHO just voted to give North Korea's dictator a spot on it's executive board for all the good health care he provides to his nation.

Congrats Kim!  You've worked so hard to get accepted and join up with like minded peoples!

Do you have a link for the Kim thing? I read that Russia has problems with diplomats as NK is still or again complete closed because of the fear of Covid or any other virus/bioweapon. But I couldn't find much information and don't know if it is true or not....One source reports that NK delivers ammunition to Russia, the other source says that the border is complete locked down...that is contradicting each other

It's a North Korean public health official.... not Kim.

"The North Korean Ministry of Public Health's Dr. Jong Min Pak has been seated on the WHO's executive board with a term set to last until 2026."

Interesting how when facts, logic and just pure common sense are posted, these posts are not responded to by the minority on here that continue to support this alarmist nonsense.

Where are your facts? I posted mine.

WHO data appears to show about 91 officially reported COVID deaths for youngsters below 5 years of age since the start of 2023 -- a number about 4 times the comparable number for the age group 5-9.

Of course, deaths aren't the only COVID outcome to be concerned about. Hospitalizations and potential ongoing health complications also belong on the list.

The same graphic above also shows officially reported COVID infections in the age group under 5 outnumbering infections in the age 5-9 age group.

If having a North Korean official on the WHO executive board doesn't set off the alarm bells I don't know what will.

57,152,754Births this year globaly so far.  https://www.worldometers.info/ As I said this is increasing about 3 per second so the numbers you show are in all reality very, very miniscule. The data also does not state if comorbidities were present. Nevertheless this data does not support wholesale vaccination for under 12 month old babies.

Jab your baby and then get them boosted every six months? Who knows. Coverage for these mRNA jabs are not for life like most vaccinations are. These are also very new vaccines so no real long term data. Vaccine injury is now a real thing. Would you get your newborn jabbed and why?

For all the calls for vaccinations there seems to be a void in availability in many parts of Issan.

COVID is raging up here with many kids having to be admitted to the hospital.

Vaccine injury is now a real thing.

More than 13 billion COVID vaccine doses have been administered worldwide since the end of 2020....

The U.S. CDC has recorded something like 9 confirmed COVID-vaccine related fatalities. The UK has recorded 50+, mainly because of the AZ vaccines that have largely been halted in favor of mRNA....and were never used in the U.S.

Serious health outcomes confirmed to be related to COVID vaccinations are exceedingly rare, and vastly outnumbered by the risk of COVID illness related complications. That's the collective judgment of the WHO, CDC and pretty much every other major public health organization.

13 January 2023

"...research about England by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) published in February 2022 says: “Estimates suggest that 127,500 deaths and 24,144,000 infections have been prevented as a result of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, up to 24 September.”"

"The British Heart Foundation said last month that the evidence shows “the benefits of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine greatly outweigh the risk of extremely rare side effects for the vast majority of people”.

Report: COVID-19 vaccines saved US $1.15 trillion, 3 million lives

December 14, 2022

"

A Commonwealth Fund study estimates that, through November 2022, COVID-19 vaccines prevented more than 18.5 million US hospitalizations and 3.2 million deaths and saved the country $1.15 trillion.

The modeling study estimated hospitalizations and deaths averted through the end of November 2022, at a time when 80% of the US population had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine."

Based on my own experience alone, I can say that it would be absolute madness to vaccinate babies. The medical establishment seems very interested when people are suffering from Covid but drops you like a hot potato when you have an adverse effect to the vaccine.

How about some full disclosure - how much are doctors and hospitals  being paid to administer these vaccines?

Whats wrong with additional funding to administer vaccines because of a health concern when it means that extra resources are needed in the hospitals to do this?

Not to mention, the vast majority of COVID vaccinations done here in Thailand are done thru government-run or sponsored vaccination centers.

I think I've had 7 shots since the beginning of the pandemic, and never once been injected by a doctor or been seen by a doctor for that purpose.

It's just more conspiracy theory nonsense.

It provides an incentive to administer as many as possible with very little due diligence.

Doctors rarely administer vaccines.  If one needs a complete check-up with a doctor you need to make an appointment.
