Yet more ‘Starmer’ whataboutary.

Unfortunately for the whataboutary merchants, Durham police found no breach of the rules:

https://www.durham.police.uk/News/News-Articles/2022/July/Durham-Constabulary-press-statement.aspx

So when Durham police take no action on Starmer that proves his innocence but the Metropolitan police are corrupt for concluding no action should be taken here.

Got it. ????

Back to Law 101 class you go Johnny.

Innocent until proven guilty.

……

Corruption in the Met is a matter of public record.

But….but…but whatabout this totally unrelated and proven legal behavior by others?!

The difference and the reason why none of that was breaking any rules or laws has been explained to you in a number of occasions.

This, dear Chomper, is what happens when people tire of experts.

Why bother with every hard fought legal code since the Magna Carta, when one can just pull an "opinion" out of ones favourite Tory editors bottom?

Two things. The first 18 months after covid started and until we got sufficient numbers of vaccinated people was exactly when the lockdown and no partying regulations were most relevant and most important. Unarguably far more important than now.

Secondly, your right wing talking point misinformation about Sweden's doing better than nearby countries despite having no lockdown is very misleading. The elderly had a worse outcome than Norway. The whole point of the lockdowns pre vaccine awas to protect the vulnerable. Unfortunately the narcissists believe that demographic was dispensable. We keep hearing about how the elderly should take care of themselves instead of everybody making miniscule sacrifices and doing the right thing.

Questioning the effectiveness or otherwise of any anti  Covid measures is in no way indicative of whether one is left wing or right wing.  It is however a normal response from those of us who are less inclined to believe everything governments and their agents tell us

This whole party gate farce is merely distracting  from the rest of the cluster<deleted> but if you think things would have been any better with starmer in charge you are delusional

They couldn't have been any worse. Stop excusing the tories ignorance and disdain for medical advice.

I'm not excusing anything , the whole thing was a absolute disaster, but there was a lot worse going on than a bit of a piss up or two. They are all just too happy to let the mainstream media and the outraged pearl clutchers get hysterical over this as it is a very effective distraction from what ever else they were up to at the time and what ever they want to bury at the moment.  that's why this story goes on and on, it suits them just fine. if it didn't they would have stopped it ages ago.

The video under discussion reveals the attitude of those on camera towards the rules the rest of the nation was subjected to.

Starmer doesn’t make an appearance.

The problem with your attempt of whataboutary is you fail to tell us what these ‘a lot worse things going on’ were.

People being denied visits to dying loved ones or to attend funerals of family members while parties were being held at Conservative Party HQ would be my punt.

Don’t let the facts of the Police inquiry get in the way of your need for a baseless conspiracy:

https://www.durham.police.uk/News/News-Articles/2022/July/Durham-Constabulary-press-statement.aspx

Basically you have just proven my point and all that link proves is that the police are not consistant and are operating two tier policing.

But given the choice to attend a Boris cake party or a Keir Starmer beer and curry party I would chose the

Keir party, extra poppadoms for me Keir. ????????????????????

Obviously you don’t understand the basic principle that a law cannot be broken if the law isn’t in place at the time.

The lockdown rules were changed more than once, thee rules in place at the time of Johnson’s partying were not the same as those at the time of Starmer’s work related event.

And "you don't understand" that the country was in stage 2 of covid rules, which meant that people couldn't socialise outside their households.

Starmer is a liar, he said he that he couldn't remember A Raynor being there, surely someone with a mouth as big as Raynors he definitely would have heard her.

I won't wait for your patronising excuses, I'm done with you. Have a nice day.

The Durham police inquiry found no COVID lockdown rules were broken by Starmer.

Let me know when you have facts rather than wild conspiracy .

I think the release of this video is no coincidence.  Clearly the timing has been orchestrated to highlight the breach of rules and total disregard the then government (or some of them) had for their own lockdown laws.  More bad news for those still trying desperately, against all the odds, trying to stand by their fallen hero Boris Johnson.

Interesting to note some of his former chums now choosing to abstain with their vote in the house today.  More cowardly actions from the spineless bottom feeders.  I don't know if Sunak is going to be in the house for the vote or "doing a Johnson" and hiding in a fridge somewhere.  Time will tell.

The interview with Gove on Sunday says it all really.  He admitted that the report was correct and that Johnson had lied repeatedly to the house and the people but would be abstaining anyway because he felt the 90 days suspension wasn't "fair".  What a sniveling rat that man is.  Johnson had already done a runner to avoid the suspension!

And there you have it Only 7 voted against  last night with MP's in the house shouting "Who are you!".  I think we can guess who the 7 were but at least they actually voted whilst 225 of the other sniveling rats abstained.  Cowards everyone of them.  But maybe the biggest coward has to be the Prime Minister.  He didn't turn up at all.

I just hope that the constituents of the 225 MPs that abstained take a moment to reflect on whether these cowards are representing them or just dodging any responsibility.  In the meantime the Conservative Party continues to self destruct while  Starmer seems incapable of  capitalising on the situation.  I don't think that politics has ever been as depressing or pathetic as it is today.

Starmer is engaging in the wise policy if not interrupting your enemy while they are making mistakes.

He need only remind the electorate that while the Tories squabble the key issues faced by the nation are getting worse and getting zero attention from the Tories.

And the opposition didn't want to waste time by pushing and pushing for an inquiry and inconsequential vote, did they?

Did I hear Starmer say " let's not worry about it. Boris has resigned as PM and MP. Let's leave it at that and get on with more important things, like the economy". No, I didn't think so.

Serially lying to parliament is not ‘inconsequential’ nor was the vote.

We now have on record the names of almost 300 Tories who are not willing to vote to pass judgment on the serial liar Johnson.

The vote was inconsequential. The only result being the removal of Boris's parliamentary pass. So what.

The whole of yesterday's parliamentary session was a waste of time.

The 300 non voters did the correct thing by avoiding getting involved in the knife twisting charade. They must have had more important things to be getting on with.

You don’t like there being a parliamentary record censuring your boy Johnson for his serial lying to parliament.

I get that, I do.

Really?  There have been a number of posts on twitter today from tories who were absent from parliament pursuing personal pursuits while they should have been doing the work for which they are paid.  "Watching the cricket" sticks in my mind for some reason.

The inquiry was released. That was sufficient. The rest was a waste of time. Just egos on steroids.

No, the inquiry was released tgen it was sent to parliament for parliament to approve.

That’s how parliamentary inquiries are processed.

The Tories are playing their last overs and even then they can’t play with a straight bat.

An utterly shameful bunch of cowards.

Interesting that Boris's biggest defender and future member of the Lords, Jacob Rees Mogg actually abstained!

He - and others - were otherwise engaged; boozing it up at a Tory garden party.

The standard of dancing and the Xmas jumper deserves jail time IMO. Where were the fashion police when they were needed?

The party itself? No big deal. There were all at it, including Starmer and Rayner.

Out of date link, Durham police found no wrong doing.

You’ve been told that on multiple occasions with links to the Durham Police statement on in the matter, but it passed in one ear and out the other.

I know what Durham police found.

However, I can see the pictures with my own eyes. If Durham police told you that water isn't wet presumably you'd stop taking showers?

The UK police force are pathetic. Proven liars. I wouldn't trust them to tell me the time. The pictures tell me everything I need to know and no amount of gaslighting from clowns in uniforms or from you will convince me I did not see what I saw.
