Hunter Biden-linked account received $5 million days after threatening messages: 'Sitting here with my father'

A bank account linked to President Biden's son Hunter Biden received more than $5 million in August 2017, shortly after his threatening messages — in which he said he was "sitting here" with his father — to a Chinese associate revealed this week by an IRS whistleblower, according to documents released by congressional investigators.  

On Aug. 4, 2017, Chinese firm CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $100,000 to Hunter Biden’s law firm Owasco, according to a 2020 report published by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Then, days later on Aug. 8, 2017, CEFC Infrastructure Investment sent $5 million to Hudson West III, a firm Hunter Biden opened with Chinese associates.

The two transactions totaling $5.1 million came within 10 days of messages uncovered Thursday by the House Ways and Means Committee. In the messages — shared to the panel via IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley Jr., who oversaw the agency's probe into Hunter Biden — Hunter Biden blasted business partner Henry Zhao for not fulfilling his "commitment" and said his father was with him.

As I understand the OP this seems to have happened during a period pf time when Trump was POTUS with Pence as the VP.

 

The current president Biden was not in any position of power and his son, Hunter, NEVER worked for his father, and was NEVER appointed to ANY government position.

 

Furthermore I cannot see any messages marked  "sitting here with my Father" can be misconstrued as "threatening".

Please share with me the proof that the left never claimed these payments existed.

And what exactly does "CCP linked Chinese citizens" mean? I'm aware, even if you're not, that the Chinese govt installs its apparatchiks in virtually every large company in China? Is that what you mean? Isn't it the case that the person who made these payments is now detained in prison and being investigated for corruption? Apparently, in your world, it's a crime to be related to people who, actually haven't been show to have committed, but certainly aren't reluctant to have traded on the name of Joe Biden. No hard evidence exists that Joe Biden profited even to the tune of 1 cent over these deals or that he actually intervened for any member of his family in these deals. I believe HB is suing the laptop fixer. Not because he wasn't entitled to keep the laptop but he was never entitled to access or disseminate the data which was personal. So, yes they can go quite low.
