President Biden is facing backlash from conservatives following a report that his aides have been told to say publicly that he only has six grandchildren, omitting Hunter Biden’s 4-year-old estranged daughter.

The president’s son, Hunter Biden, settled his child support case in Arkansas last week, ending a years-long paternity dispute over his 4-year-old daughter, whom both the president and the first lady refuse to acknowledge as their seventh grandchild.

Announced in a court filing on Thursday, Hunter agreed to give his daughter some of his paintings, and the mother of the child, Lunden Alexis Roberts, agreed to withdraw her counterclaim to change their child's last name to "Biden."

The New York Times released a damning report Saturday saying the family dispute is rooted in "money, corrosive politics and what it means to have the Biden birthright."

The media, unsurprisingly, is being completely oblivious about this.  His unrecognized grand daughter is the blood of his blood and flesh of his flesh. Just as much as any of his other 6 grandchildren. Yet he showers affection and forgiveness on his 'wayward' son (understandable for a parent to do so). And completely ignores his second youngest grandchild.  Hunter goes to state dinners, Navy eats government cheese.

Ya think maybe he's adopted this course because of the stress it might put on his son, who, as a recovering addict, is susceptible to relapse?

No.

How could having a relationship with his child harm any recovery he is doing?  Not to mention, hell at least a Christmas card from the grandparents would be nice.  It seems like a political strategy to deliberately freeze her out and keep any more scandal away from the family.

Really? You don't see how that could affect him? Willful blindness.

And please, stop playing the violin. You think this 4 year old girl is pining for attention from Granma and Grampa?

I forgot to ask you...what kind of government cheese was she eating? Given that her child support payments were $20,000 per month, I imagine her mother could afford to feed her genuine French Roquefort. How could the government compete with that?

It might ‘seem’ to be lots of things, including rightwing faux outrage.

Like when did the rightwing care about kids ‘eating government cheese’ beyond the cost to the government of the cheese?!

Our pres is a class act alright. How is including Navy as one of his grandchildren harmful? Ole uncle joe is lacking character, that's for sure.

No, it is about the moral turpitude of ignoring a child merely for the sake of political expedience.

Nonsense. It's actually the opposite of political expedience. What would work better for Biden's image than playing the fond grandfather to the child that Hunter Biden neglected.

Do you think even one vote will be changed by this fake outrage manufactured garbage?

Wow, the New York Times generates fake outrage manufactured garbage? Who'd have thought...

Is it really so hard to admit Biden's moral failings?   Sacrificing a child on the altar of politics?  Seems pretty low.

This is like getting involved in tabloid journalism, 'tattle-tale' news rags, and Lakhon.
I.e., a waste of time.  I don't care about the slimy underbelly of the political class
