16 of the senators were sick, wow that's 6.4% of the total senate.

I hope they all received sickness benefit.

And bring a Dr certificate when they come next time, act like children, be treated like children.

Perhaps when you are appointed to a well paid job you do as you are told to do.

That does not mean that what you are told to do. is the rightful thing to do.

IIRC the senators are paid 100,000 monthly (and probably expenses and perks are freebie extras),

6,000,000 thb (++) is a nice little earner over 5 years, simply for doing as you are told. No thinking involved.

"SalaryPresident: ฿119,920/m Vice President: ฿115,740/m Members: ฿113,560/m"

Free car

Health insurance

5,000 baht stipend/allowance per day.

Travel allowance.

I have a feeling their decision was premeditated... smells as if China is working on the background with EC and senators, thus democracy will never be implemented here or implemented if if follows the Chinese way

113,560 per month.

Plus five (5) "staff" AKA the "friends and family" plan. I thought that they get 60,000 per month each.
