Derailment of cement-laden train in Chachoengsao causes transport chaos

A train derailment caused havoc as it crashed into a signal tower, blocking essential transport routes in Chachoengsao. The incident unfolded at approximately 2.40am on July 20. The enquiry was led by Kritsata Soamorm, an inspecting officer from Klong Luang Phaeng, Chachoengsao Police Station.

Fake Thai police duo murder ice vendor in daylight attack

A shocking incident took place where a man lost his life in a brutal targeted attack by two men who claimed to be police officers. The victim, aged 52, was killed at his home after being shot four times. The crime happened in Phetchabun province around 6.30pm, on 19 July.

Campaign launched to fight cybercrime in Thailand with 800 criminal cases being reported per day

National Police Chief, General Damrongsak Kittiprapas oversaw the launch, on Tuesday, of a campaign to tackle cybercrime in the kingdom by immunising the population with awareness of the threat. He revealed that tens of billions of baht are lost, with 800 cases reported daily.


Thailand has introduced a new Royal Decree which allows for suspicious banks and phone accounts to be shut down.
