Scavenger Captured For Stealing Ceiling

Featured Replies

At 4 am on 10th July the Pattaya Police were informed that the steel structure of the ceiling from the Amazon Pet Shop located on Pattaya 3rd Road had been stolen and they found the thief.

On arrival the police found 49 year old Kritsada Saetan being detained together with the evidence of steel in the side-car of his motorbike.

Kritsada confessed to the police that he did try to take the metal away. He said that he is a garbage collector and he has been having financial problems so decided to take the steel at the side of the shop, which the construction workers brought down while renovating the store.

The ceiling certainly came crashing down on him as he will now be charged for theft.

This guy had almost got away with the theft but on turning into his soi the 22 foot wide ceiling knocked a m/c taxi driver off his bike! The taxi driver was able to call the police who apprehended the thief and transfered the ceiling back to the police station as evidence. On the way back to the station, the ceiling which was being transported by m/c collided with 3 baht buses, 18 stationary cars and an elephant whose mahout was subsequently arrested for being in town. At the station, the elephant which had not been fed, ate the ceiling! All charges have now been dropped due to lack of evidence! :o:D
