webfact
On July 26, 2023, Nivatichai Kesammongkol, the secretary of Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), addressed inquiries regarding Pita Limcharoenrat, an MP by party-list (currently suspended by the Constitutional Court) of the Move Forward Party. Pita is under scrutiny for his management of inheritance shares in iTV Co., Ltd., comprising 42,000 shares. Nivatichai pointed out that although some documentation arrived late, the NACC's primary concern is asset verification, not eligibility, which falls under the Election Commission and the Constitutional Court, reported Siam Rath. "Some submit documents later than usual. However, when you compare Pita’s 42,000 iTV shares to his declared assets worth 100 million baht, it doesn’t seem he's hiding anything," commented Nivatichai. Additionally, a land sale involving approximately 14 rai in Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, valued at 18 million baht but sold for merely 6 million baht, is also under the NACC's lens, with Nivatichai suggesting a preliminary probe into the significant price discrepancy. They didn't find anything wrong with Prayut's inflated land sales, which occurred right after he threw the coup. 4 1
Popular Post bamnutsak
Regarding the land sale, please note that the valuation of 18m is from a 2019 asset declaration made by Pita himself. It does/did not represent the potential sale value then, or now. That he sold it for 6m ("recently") doesn't raise any red flags with me. What's he supposed to do? Not sell it? I would hope that every single MP past, present and future is subject to a similar forensic accounting review, even if Ruangkrai hasn't filed "charges" against all of them. 6
Popular Post bradiston
What happened to the NACC being ordered to supply details of their ruling on Prawit's watches? They were given 15 days from June 16th. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/nacc-ordered-to-disclose-findings-regarding-general-prawits-luxurious-wristwatches/ 1 3

There must be a huge conflagration around Prayuth then, but nobody really knows his worth as he REFUSES to release any details at all. At least Pita stood for election, which is something that Prayuth has NEVER done. 1 1

Some unreasonable expectations here, I think. The default position when looking at any politician is...you lie. The issue here is he is unwanted, therefore those who want him gone will out him. Those who are part of the trough will cover their arses but tattle on those who don't play the game. 1 1
Popular Post newnative
Just as we thought. If it hadn't been the trumped up non-issue with the defunct media shares, they would dig something else up. And, here it is, another trumped up non-issue. Let's see some deep probing of the junta members--and the Senate. 1
