Again, so what? The CO2 isn't going away, the climate isn't going to change back, so what are they going to do about it, other than have conferences that achieve nothing?

You can tell them to stop growing potatoes in Ireland. It rains all the time in Ireland, which is why it's called the Emerald Isle. What you describe isn't a flood zone, it was heavy rain, like has happened for all of human history. A flood zone is where floods happen every year as they were the natural course of a river in flood. It doesn't have to rain in a flood zone as the water comes from upriver.

While it's true that currently CO2 is about .041 %f the atmosphere, before the Industrial Revolution it was about 2.8%. So not the 11% contribution claimed by whoever that clown is in the video you shared. It's more like 30%. We know that the human contribution amounts to that because of the fact that fossil fuels are virtually entirely depleted of their Carbon 14 content. So by comparing the ratio of CO2 that contains C14 to that which doesn't, it's easy to compute what the human generated contribution amounts to. 1

No. It's because climatologists aren't saying it's the end of the world. It's just going to be one that's going to put a lot more physical stress on humans and a wide variety of fauna and flora.

As for it raining "all the time in Ireland. What does that even mean? I hope you don't mean it literally. ,Anyway, the question is not whether or not Ireland has a rainy climate but how rainy. How often do the rains flood the fields to such an extent that they render the potato crop useless? Has the frequency of that occurrence increased? As for the definition of a flood zone, why do you persist in making things up when the internet provides a way to access accurate information? A flood zone is not where" floods happen every year". Do you think insurers would ever have insured homes in a flood zone if they were getting flooded every year? What Does Flood Zone Mean? A flood zone is a designated area that has a certain degree of risk for floods. These zones are often near sources of water, such as rivers, oceans, or lakes. https://www.insuranceopedia.com/definition/5400/flood-zone
