The chief of Khao Kho National Park in Thailand’s Phetchabun province has been transferred and placed under investigation for allowing illegal resorts to be built at Pha Hua Sing (Lion’s Head) cliff, which is a part of the national park.

Officials from the park, Internal Security Operations Command, the Phayak Prai task force, the Nam Khun forest protection unit and the highland development centre inspected the two illegally-built resorts in Ban Noen sub-district, Lom Kao district.

One of the resorts, named “Phu Thap Boek Suan Sawan”, is four permanent houses, five dome-shape tents, bamboo flooring for camping. The other resort, “Good View, Hot View”, is just a camping ground.

To cal four portakabins and four polytunnels a "resort" is a bit of a stretch, in my view. A few bamboo mats to camp on, even moreso.
