Some States are planning to use the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution to keep trump and his co-conspirators off the ballot:

14th Amendment

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

"We love you all very much" (trump to the 6 January terrorists)

"If re-elected, I'll pardon all of the January 6 prisoners"

At the very least, that sounds like 'given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof'.

Uhh, no one has been convicted of insurrection, although I assume (and it has been brought up countless times) the plan all along was to get Trump for insurrection so prohibit him from running.

I'm surprised you didn't know that given how brilliant you.

No State is actually doing this, although some individuals in some states are making noises about doing this.

Note that Trump has not even been charged with sedition, let alone convicted.

Easy to interpret it as insurrection. They certainly were not there to buy souvenirs, nor did trump send them there to be peaceful. His style was taught to him by Ray Cohn.

Lawyers and officials much more intelligent and well-versed in Constitutional Law that you are working on it.

Patience, grasshopper.

Only easy for the left, your greatness...

US is fast becoming a Banana Republic.

Looks like old Joe is working for the EUrocommie Colonialists from Europe.

They want their colony back and will 'come to the rescue' once the hyperinflation kicks in.
