In the early hours of Wednesday morning two people were injured in a road crash on Sukhumvit Road, opposite Soi Nern Plub Wan, and later taken by Sawang Boriboon Rescue Volunteers to the Pattaya International Hospital.

The crash took place after a pickup driven by Thai Police Volunteers, who claimed to be following what they thought was a suspicious motorbike, attempted to make an illegal turn into Soi Nern Plub Wan in pursuit of the said motorbike. The pickup driver failed to notice a motor vehicle traveling on the inside lane. He made his sudden illegal attempt to follow the motorbike with the result that the vehicle on the inside lane was unable to avoid a collision.

The two men traveling in the motor vehicle, the driver, aged 25, and his 45-year-old passenger, suffered injuries requiring immediate medical attention. The driver of the pickup escaped any injury, but has been interviewed by police and is likely to face charges of negligent driving.

Like all sheep you need someone to herd them away from this stupid practice but as we all know living in LOS the herdsman in the box dont care until someone is hurt or killed.
