Illegal Immigrants Arrested In Pattaya

Immigration and police officers from “Pattaya 50 Project” were able to arrest 105 illegal immigrant workers in the evening of 10th July at a few construction sites along Sukhumvit Road.

Since the problem of illegal immigrants entering Thailand for work has worsened and increased, officers have to work extra hard to locate them and their employers.

That day the officers went through various locations in Jomtien and Pattaya to find as many illegal immigrants as possible and escorted them all to Pattaya Immigration Office to be recorded and then deported.

The highest penalty will go to the employers for bringing in these people illegally to work for low pay.
