They drove me to rage on may occasions. Got tired of fisticuffs with them. Left China.

Sadly they're everywhere.

If I sound racist I'm sorry... not sorry. 13 years in the PRC, 20 years in Asia (including Taiwan). Entitled mainlanders are the worst of the worst.

I think he's Korean. He is speaking Korean in the video.

    1. Never attack a policeman. It usually does not end well. 2. If he had done that in the US, there is a good chance he would have been shot dead. 3. The cops behaved very cool. I give them c

Hitting a police officer, shoot him in the leg.

What are you on about? You think he's going to keep his leg still so they can aim at his leg? Do you have any idea how hard it is to hit a small moving target with a handgun?

Cops are trained to shoot into the abdomen as it's the largest target.

I wonder what happened to start that off.

Does it matter?

This was not a split-second reaction. The attack on the police officer goes on for over a minute.

Anybody with a working brain would have realized latest after a few seconds that this is a very stupid idea.

That's what would have happened in the USA, for sure. The guy was lucky to find such cool police officers here.

No, that would not have happened in the USA under the same circumstances. However, he would have been taken down and handcuffed immediately after assaulting an officer.

The solution was a taser, but alas I doubt they have one..........????

I hope he’s not expecting a visa extension. In a more civilised country it’s likely they would have just shot or tasered him. Hats off to the BIB.

You're only racist if you cast aspersions and assign negative connotations generally and randomly toward isolated individuals of an ethnic group, because they belong to that group. Just because you've had bad experiences in China does not in and of itself justify malignant racism. then you've added another problem on top of the original one. I've seen racism against Blacks in the US rationalized similarly all of my 66 years, and it's ugly. Meanwhile I've run into more misbehaving British louts and blighters lately than any other group, with various other ethnicities also guilty, and very few Chinese by comparison. Granted, that's because of Covid, but fact nonetheless, and I'm not going to tar and feather any group because of it.

copper prolly did somethin he shouldnt have.

That's what I see - two kids who don't move, maybe they are his kids - one of them may have been dicking around on the skateboard, the policeman may have done something to escalate and the old man didnt appreciate it.

He only seems to have a problem with one officer, the policeman is showing a little restraint, but badly trained, if he was going to pull his baton he shouldn't use it to antagonize the situation by hitting the skateboard - he should have only used it (imho) to take out the tourist at the knees, but what do I care.

That makes it as the most bizarre thing I have seen this week. What the hell is wrong with people?

Amazing they did not just take him down.

Just shoot the idiot. Problem solved.

Should have called in a few "Wins" they would have sorted the offender out with a few swift kicks.

I lived in China many years and never had a problem. Everyone was very nice.

The RTP showed almost ridiculous restraint. They shoulda tazered him just to set an example.  Anyone giving this a try at LAX would get the bejesus stomped out of him by the cops - and well deserved at that ????

And what's the problem with a grown man having and riding a skateboard.

Grow up, anyone over 9yrs old on a skateboard needs treatment ????????????

"Foreigner". Just say Chinese. If he wasn't I doubt the officers would've shown such restraint. While I'm all for police restraint - in this case they gave him way too much opportunity to attack and harm their fellow officer. Wouldn't have been hard to subdue him from behind - gotta wonder why they never even tried.

The rise of the Chinese here does not bode well for Thailand. The "rich" ones that Thailand so desperately seeks bring nothing but trouble - like this fine specimen, as well as all the criminals and druggies rounded up before the election (funny how they stopped busting them post-election, huh?).

True. They should have shot him and be done with it.

Although it does happen, even in America, no policeman in their right mind shoots someone trying to hit them with a skateboard. Policemen that shoot others who aren't holding an actual weapon, are either very prejudiced or very disturbed. That's what tasers are for. They did show restraint. I would have tackled the idiot and brought him to jail.

I wonder what would of happened if the skateboard chap was not Asian ?

What a <deleted> (skateboard guy)… …. if I were the police I’d introduce the guy to taser at minimum… No reason for that behavior…, on another

note looked like on of the bar fight guys in line with checkered shirt…

Very good exercise, and who's against exercise but those that don't do it? Adults play badminton, a game usually thought of as a child's game.

Skateboard vs Gun who will prevail?

I speak Japanese fluently and studied Korean for a couple of years. He is not speaking either. This sounds like Chinese.

In view of the way Chinese men often behave, you may well be right. Morality isn't taught in schools in China anymore.

And blacklist him.

The police told him he couldn't take the skateboard on to the plane as it could be used as a weapon so he decided to demonstrate that it is an ineffective weapon ????????????

The thai police were being too heavy handed ????

The foreigner was skateboarding in an airport terminal. He was being a plonker.
