Thanks - Settlement Visa Success

Just a brief note to thanks all those who contribute to this section of the Thai Visa website, whether their comments are good, bad, complimentary, inflammatory etc. It is all ultimately useful in navigating the visa process.

My wife has just been granted a settlement visa, in what was not a straightforward application, made further complicated by our joint actions.

With a fair bit of help though from the Scouser in a professional capacity via Davies Khan, we were eventually able to to gain the desired visa. Many thanks, Scouse! To all those considering using Davies Khan, I would strongly recommend it, even if you have done your homework / research. It is always useful to have someone to call on for re-assurance / guidance, even on small matters. At the end of the day, , the cost of a new settlement visa application as a result of a failed application is £500 + 2-5 months of heartache and additonal expense, so why not employ a professional to help you in the process.

To all those about to go through the process, I offer the following advice:-

1 be prepared (it is amazing how much stuff is available via the net nowadays, bank statements, credit card, phone statements)

2 tell the truth!

3 read all the notes on here and ask questions (it helps everyone else as well)
