When will these stupid farangs understand that sexual services and drug dealing businesses are on the Reserved for Thais, list. They might get around this if they know a Thai, preferably a policeman in a high position.????

Interesting that, after eight-ish years the PM, to whom the RTP report, decided to actually do something.

The Thai Police only carries out orders that they deem good for their image. When Prime Minister Prayut Chan Ocha ordered a nationwide police reform due to corruption, the RTP came up with a new uniform design.

My dream job is to be a quality inspector of the services and wares offered, you know, just to make sure.

Use a server in another country and funds deposited to another country bank, then make regular withdrawals in cash.  Don't leave a paper-trail.

Most of all, if the operation may be considered rouge, don't acquire expensive titled properties or assets.

Rent or lease, don't buy titled assets in the countries you are operating a rouge business.

Not everyone is as smart as you????

This is about tea money and nothing else.

How come the RTP did not target ThaiFriendly as first cab off the rank?

I wonder because the servers are in San Francisco the reason why the website is still up ?

Thaifriendly is not really the same though.

It is more a meeting site, what is negotiated does not have anything to do with the website.

Brad is in the Pit now up to his neck I would say unless he coughs up some pin numbers of course????

Isn't Nana Plaza owned by foreigners? Pretty sure it is.

Could you make this up...?

"online criminality linked to foreigners in Thailand which was damaging the image of the kingdom and which posed a nuisance to the public."

Foreigners are having such a corrosive effect on the disintegration of the holy moral fiber of the nation. Without them, there would be no supply, nor demand. Arrest all of us. It is the only solution.

I see 2 dudes with faces pixxeled out, where the lady.

Girls openly post that they are freelancers on their profiles.  Key issue is that there is no foreigner profiting in the background.

It's always about the money here in Thailand.....always.

Many will have pimps behind them however Thaifriendly is not advertising escort services themselves.... they are simply providing the gateway for girls to meet new people and what those people do from there is nothing to do with thaifriendly.

Thaifriendly is owned by foreigners, they will be profiting from the premium subscription service offered on their dating website.

"stupid fuss over the oldest profession"

But it is a fuss about money, associated with a nationality...

True. Brothels and karaoke bars (not primarily for the songs) all over the place. But as soon as it is online, or the neon lights show up in more touristy areas, suddenly Victorian morality kicks in. What a hypocrisy!

Does this mean that some army high-ups are shaking in their boots because their side gig may be in jeopardy?

More likely shaking in their boots because their daughters are going to start expecting a lot more money for "university" ????

A boost to retail shops, closing on-line competition!

That's all well and good, but how about clamping down on the Thai criminals as well?

You mean someone wasn't getting their cut. Using the old "damaging the image of Thailand" stick has never visited Pattaya or Nana plaza or any of the other bars in Bangkok and beyond.

The Government should conduct a worldwide survey of what the average person’s thoughts are on “ Thailands Image” regarding sex

Anybody check to see if they are answering the phones though? Website is nothing if nobody is answering the phones LOL!! ????

I guess the Thai girls who get money for their services wont get any problems :).

How many other escort services exist in Thailand? 30?

I bet quite a few expats and tourists are heart broken

Yes, I mean where on earth will they find a prostitute now?

Their furniture looks very unconformable.

This surely needs to go through the court system.

If they've paid taxes and legally registered then the state has over exerted its self and the justice system will reign it in.

I wonder if they're doing the same for Thai online criminals?  Will the second largest sex for sale website now be in their sights?  Or is that Thai run and therefore OK.
