In a remarkable revelation within Nakhon Ratchasima, a bicolor buffalo has taken the spotlight in Thailand's Ban Proong Sanoen village. The owner has confirmed its ability to change colors with the weather – turning black during the cold and lilac in the heat.

Situated within the conservation and development buffalo enclosure of Ban Proong Sanoen village in Nakhon Ratchasima, this initiative, supported by the local animal welfare office, provides Thai villagers with these buffaloes for breeding and livelihood purposes, reported INN.

Among them is a 40-year-old female buffalo named Wasana Banthengchai, benefiting one of the 40 buffalo-rearing families. Notably, a two-year-old female buffalo named "Saen Sirithorn" boasts an extraordinary feature – her body is split between lilac and black, a transformation validated by fellow farmers.

This remarkable occurrence is attributed to genetic inheritance and adapting to shifting weather conditions.

Experts, like Mr. Bancha Chutimanat, the local animal welfare official, suggest that genetic factors and varying climate patterns likely contribute to this phenomenon.

The buffalo shifts from black in the cold to lilac in the heat and transitions to black again in the rainy season, a rare and elusive sight indeed within Nakhon Ratchasima.
