90 days reminder email

Recommended Posts

My 90 days reminder email arrived today.

Your receipt for notification of "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" will be due on 06/09/2023.

However, I was abroad in July, and my new 90 days starts from when I arrived back in Thailand (making my new report date early October).

I presume I should just ignore this reminder email?

Will the online system , even though sending out this reminder, accept my new report date in Oct?

Thanks to all.

Ignore the reminder.

As for can you do it online Oct.

90 days from entry date. Yes

Having said that I made a trip to Vietnam and  returned February.

I changed the arrival day in my online report...Rejected.

Had to go to CW in person.

The next report due Aug 17.

Currently "pending" after few weeks.

Result : I'm off to CW tomorrow for another in person report.

I so hate this rubbish.

Next report (after tomorrow) will shoot both barrels.

15 days prior do "online" and "mail"

This has been my case 3 or 4 times. I just ignore the reminder and submit for the correct 90 day period. My 90 day was due 23 August. As I was unsure of travel plans I submitted online last week which was pending. Yesterday got email from immigration "application rejected due to departing Thailand 21 August". As departure is obviously tied to reporting now, perhaps entry will be.

Will that not really eff up the system?

2 different report dates?

No I have done it previously.

Eventually the online was approved after 12+ days pending status.

I eventually received reply in my self addressed envelope and the TM47 receipt had red ink hand written (in Thai)

My gf informs me "already approved"

No problem.

I might try that then, Jack. Many thanks

FWIW .....just now received a noreply email from online report.

My application was rejected.

No reason given. Robot reply.

Here is pic of recent online reports.

I give up.

Thai IT is useless.

If I post in my next report (October), will the one after that (January) be back in the online system?

Surely the whole thing should be linked.

There are several reasons why an online report might fail. Some are predictable. Most are not. Main causes: (i) immigration official does not process the report; (ii) data manually entered into the system's database is incorrect or missing; and (iii) programming errors.

It all comes down to human error, either in the past or in the processing of the current report. The most frustrating aspect is that, while they clearly delineate when you can submit a report, there seems to be nothing in the system to enforce action by the officials. In my view, there should be a rule that online reports be processed within three working days, with Division headquarters informed when officials are not doing their jobs.
