A heart-stopping incident unfolded as a Beach Patrol officer from Baan Phe had a near-fatal encounter. Falling asleep at the wheel, he veered off course, narrowly avoiding driving into the ocean. Luckily, his vehicle came to a halt by a seawall barrier, preventing a potential disaster.

On September 1st, Captain Kitthachai Wongpia of Baan Phe Police Station, Rayong Province, received a report about a pickup truck accident near Baan Phe Beach, reported Daily News.

Responding swiftly, he found a silver Isuzu D-Max pickup truck with the license plate "กท 545 Rayong" teetering on the edge of the seawall barrier. The driver, Mr. Suriwattana Chumcharoen, 70, managed to escape unharmed from the vehicle.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Suriwattana, a member of the Baan Phe Municipality Council, had been returning from Nattakwan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Rayong Province.

Fatigue took over, causing him to fall asleep, and his vehicle was only halted by the barrier. Despite the close call, he remains unharmed, attributing his safety to the amulet of Luang Pho Thong Wat Phet Ratsukham.

Amulets Save Lives!

I don't suppose that he was 'hit and missed?' But as a council member, surely not.????

Of course...

No doubt the amulet passed the usual breathalyser and drug tests with Wais all round for him to complete his journey, TiT

Just not smart enough to pull over and have a power nap instead of

crashing his pickup.  If I was his boss I would at least make him pay for the cost of the repairs.

On a bad day as boss I would just fire him.

Is there not an amulet that can stop you crashing in the first place?

A 70 year old beach patrol officer had a near fatal encounter but managed to escape unharmed!!
