Using metal detectors to locate ceramics. Not allowed.

How can you detect ceramics with a metal detector?

https://www.quora.com/Do-metal-detectors-detect-ceramic#:~:text=Ceramic objects are made up,detected by a metal detector.

The truth is that metal detectors do not detect ceramic objects because they are non-metallic. Ceramic objects are made up of non-metallic material such as clay, stone, and sand which are not detectable by metal detectors.

Metal detectors detect only metallic objects which are made up of metal alloys. So, a ceramic object cannot be detected by a metal detector.

However, the presence of ceramic objects in an area can be detected by metal detectors indirectly. This is because when a metallic object is placed near a ceramic object, the metal detector will detect the metallic object.
