Pattaya – A severe fire has damaged the Four Regions Floating Market in which the total cost of damages is initially being estimated of at least 50 million baht. The fire is believed to have started at a wooden restroom building. There are no significant injuries or deaths reported as of press time

THE Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases in Rayong this afternoon (Sep. 7) issued a new, open arrest warrant for former culture minister and Pattaya mayor Itthipol Khunpluem under malfeasance charges stemming from approval of a condominium project in Pattaya over a decade ago, Naewna newspaper said.

Fire destroys popular Pattaya Floating Market

Pattaya’s Floating Market, a popular tourist magnet in Pattaya’s Sukhumvit Road, has been burnt to the ground by a fire that broke out last night. Nation Thailand reports that around 1 rai of the 19-rai attraction was totally destroyed in the blaze.
