Farmers advised again to skip a rice crop cycle after harvest in October

The Royal Irrigation Department (RID) has repeated its strong advice to rice farmers not to plant a crop after the harvest in October and November this year, due to the water shortage as a result of the extended El Niño, which is expected to intensify and drag on until early next year.

Pedophile nabbed for rape attempt, plan thwarted by his impotence

Police officers arrested a 51 year old pedophile for attempting to rape an eight year old girl in the Isaan province of Ubon Ratchathani. His plan to commit the sexual assault was reportedly thwarted by his impotence. The man attempted to evade arrest by hiding in his car but his plan failed.

PM spending weekend in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai

Shootings at Kamnan Nok’s house were planned : Deputy national police chief

Someone appears to have pulled the plug on two CCTV servers at the house of Praween Chanklai, aka “Kamnan Nok”, shortly before the shooting on the night of July 6, suggesting the attack on the two highway police officers was planned, according to Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, the deputy national police chief.
