Montessori Teaching Discussed At Town In Town Hotel

Montessori is a method of teaching children which is both an educational philosophy and a methodology.

It was originally developed in the late 19th century by Italian educator Dr. Maria Montessori. The Montessori Method discourages traditional measurements of achievement (grades, tests) saying that it is damaging to the inner growth of children (and adults). On Friday 13th July this method was explained to many people involved with children’s education at the Town in Town Hotel, Central Pattaya Road, by Mrs. Khamkaew Kraisoraphong President of Thailand Association of Montessori Schools, having Deputy Mayor Wattana Chantarawaranon as guest in honour.
