Popular Post snoop1130 Posted September 19, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted September 19, 2023 Activists from the Student and People Network for Thailand Reform (SNT) filed a complaint seeking a detailed disclosure of former PM Thaksin Shinawatra’s health conditions, to prove if he deserves to stay in a hospital instead of a prison. The activists on Monday, September 18th, submitted a letter to the Royal Thai Police Office demanding the Police General Hospital release the latest update on Thaksin’s health condition, after he was whisked there from a prison due to worsening health issues after serving less than twelve hours. The convicted ex-premier so far spent most of his remaining one-year jail term in a posh hospital suite due to alleged medical problems and the prison’s lack of medical equipment. His initial eight-year sentence was reduced to one year by His Royal Majesty the King. Thaksin could be eligible for parole in the near future as well.
