Let me guess, you're a barhopper, old, fat and ugly and cant find a suitsble mate whereever it is you come from, moved to Thailand and fell in love with one of the girls at your local strip club who is 3 decades younger than you, totally fell for her, totally believed her that you are the big love of your life, she took you for everything and once she had everything she dropped you like a used napkin and now you're bitter and hate all Thais?! If that's the case you've got no one to blame  but yourself.

wrong in every aspect of your assumption ....

Surely the mother should be able to identify her son's handwriting in the suicide note. Believing that the note was only done under threat from another party might be a bit of a stretch.

We don't have enough info to make any kind of informed speculation on this. Black men are not nearly as prone to suicide as white men. Plus he is 24. He was probably getting more action than he knew what to do with.

Aren't you speculating?

Yes, that's all any of us can do now. Being on vacation , what he was doing, who he was doing anything with, what his future plans were, all are speculation. All we know is that his mom thought he wasn't suicidal, which is speculation also. Nothing can be said until the suicide note is analyzed, and if found to be genuine, then suicide is probably what happened. Being forced to write a suicide note isn't too feasible. No one knows what goes on in the mind of a person who commits suicide but them. Even afterwards, a lot can't understand because they don't come across as suicidal.

You don't even know what that means

The Koh Tao double murder, Kirsty Jones. No idea what the UK Police thought would be accomplised by making a visit. What actually happend, their involvement is seen as a seal of approval of the RTP's work. You could see that coming a mile away. Garf! Yep, an Accessory After The Fact.

If they came for this case, just more of the same.

Common to see reports in the British press from Brits at home blaming Thais for their on self inflicted problems.

Next will be a GOfundme.

Yep. Nothing is ever their fault. Its always the Thais fault. BTW the Gofundme for 9000 pounds has already been started. It was posted on this page

well that was predictable.

As I predicted.

Not only to they seek to blame everyone but themselves.

They expect everyone else to pay for medical and funeral expenses.

It is pretty disgusting.

It was stated by Moonlover whose post included the GOfundme link to the guys death before you posted yours.

Either way it is sure trendy in Britain to blame the host country for any conceivable mishap.

And of course on this site , 80% of the commenters are here to blame Thailand for whatever the story is. I just don't understand why they don't bugger off back to where they came from and never associate with Thailand again if they don't like the way Thai's operate.

Almost every foreigner who dies in Thailand has an autopsy performed on them before they are released for repatriation.

It's not something you need to request - it's mandatory unless some certain conditions are met - like you're in hospital under the care of a Doctor and being treated for something.

More information here : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/what-to-do-after-a-british-person-dies-in-thailand

So there will be a lot more information made available including the condition of the guy when he was found and all the other info like exact cause of death, etc.

Yes. But they're not ordinarily done at the Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS)
