I am a 50 y-o British consultant and my sponsoring Thai company has copied me on the letter they have already sent to the Thai Consulate in Singapore supporting my Non-Immigrant "B"visa application.

Since the Thai Consulate there has no web presence, is there anything else I need apart from my good self, passport, copy of said letter, completed application and photo(s)?

Will the Thai Consul issue a single or multiple entry? The letter does not specify.

Are their hours for applications still up to 11 am and pickup after 2 pm?

Finally, any recommendations on a hotel, preferably within walking distance while I do this? Prefer if it's bookable via the internet as I am working offshore MY right now and want to make the Singapore trip as much of a fly-by as possible; booking flights to fit etc..

Believe you will require company paperwork as well as the letter but if you click member Sunbelt Asia and read back some of his posts I suspect you will find details as am sure the question has been asked before, but I don't remember the details.

Visa will be single entry.

The Embassy is in the middle of Orchard Road shopping district so there are very good hotels across the street but Singapore has good underground and taxi service so location really not important. Perhaps others can provide there favorites or try search in forum as they are often mentioned in Singapore threads.

The current information on MFA website is below - believe they do answer emails and phone but website is not active.
