Lui Jian, 34, was nabbed while playing cards with five other Chinese nationals in the Bo Win sub-district. Jian was wanted for an alleged armed robbery, which transpired in Bangkok’s Huai Khwang district last Friday, September 22nd. Pol Maj Gen Teeradet Thamsuri, commander of the Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, explained that Jian and five other Chinese men snuck into a house in the Kesinee Ville housing estate in the Sam Sen Nok area of Huai Khwang, which was occupied by three other Chinese people. Popular Post Middle Aged Grouch
Well they lured, woed and asked for these "quality" chinese tourists so well now handle it...I would put back visa requirements for chinese tourists and not nore then 20 days per trip for the tourists. They spend nothing with local business and only shop, dine and wash their laundry in Chinese owned establishments. Nothing much to gain for the thai's. 2 3

RichardColeman
Maybe now that the chinese fraudsters and criminals have fleeced and robbed the chinese economy into ruin, they need to move to fresher grounds and a more gullible populace ? 1

I'm of to the bridge club now I vaguely recall it is a matter of needing paperwork to have multiple packs of cards, and of course the bridge club you are thinking of had quite a few, On top of that gambling is illegal. Barry Kenyon might be able to clarify that!
