Can anyone advise how long before departure one can obtain a single entry re-entry permit?

Previously  I departed Thailand 3 weeks after renewing annual visa so got both at the same time, thus saving a visit to the beloved Immigration Office.

This year I’ll be departing almost 3 months after my visa renewal and was wondering if I could still obtain both together.

Appreciate any advice and insight, thanks

If obtained at same time as extension your re-entry permit

will be good for the full year.

You will now no doubt get a string of posts telling you it is

far easier to pick one up at the airport ...but for peace

of mind

OP, at immigration office you can obtain it anytime prior to exit.

At airport obtained at time of departure.

Be aware that CW currently has long queues without appointment
