Two Market Vendors Selling Copied Movies Arrested In Soi Beokeow Market

Featured Replies

On Friday Night, Police Major Chayagrit from the Undercover Unit at Pattaya Police Station conducted an operation at the Grand Hall Market in Soi Beokeow after receiving information that vendors were selling copies of popular Thai and International movies. Two vendors were arrested at the Market, Khun Banyar aged 17 and Khun Santeesook aged 19. They were caught selling a selection of DVD and VCD movies, some of which have yet to be released for general sale. More than 3,000 CD’s and DVD’s were confiscated and the pair are now facing charges relating to the sale of copyrighted items and will appear in court soon.

So the police caught a couple of teenagers who were trying to make a (illegal) living.

Pity they don't concentrate on the teenage druggies who steal from others, use guns, all to feed their habits.
