Why not ship them to the US? The US has to stick its awe into everything in the world and the arms that Hamas are using come from the USA, so why not return the favour and send the Israelis to the US where I'm sure, they will receive a very warm welcome.

"The US has to stick its awe into everything in the world"

Nice! Reminds me of a story about John Wayne playing the part of a centurion in a film about the Crucifixion. His line was "Surely this was the Son of God", and the director said, "John can you not say it with  more AWE?" And on the next take John said "AW, surely this was the Son of God"! ????

I perceive their actions to be nationalistic, especially to the exclusion and detriment of other nations.

Think you will find El Al aircraft's will be or are fitted with anti rocket protection e.g. chaff etc, also  fighter escorts not far away.

Misinformation.

Israel air space and its main gateway Ben Gurion airport are open. Any report about it being closed for commercial or repatriation flights is completely false.

The reports yesterday, and also spoken by the new Prime Minister of Thailand, were that Thai repatriation flights were not allowed access to Israeli airspace at that point in time. Perhaps things are different today? I still haven't read any reports though of any Thai airlifts of civilians or collection of dead bodies. Sadly, just reports of Israeli's coming on holiday to Thailand.

Thailand should stop accepting El Al commercial flights to/from Israel until they allow Thai humanitarian repatriation flights into their airspace/airports.

If Thailand is unable to send aircraft to repatriate its citizens stranded in Israel then maybe it can send submarines instead?

Really? Israeli tourists are violating international law?

Or are you attempting to conflate the policies of the Israeli government with the individuals who are Israeli? This is a fun game, and can be applied pretty much to anyone anywhere with pretty much the same benefit - if you feel self-identification as a hateful and racist person to be beneficial. I presume that you feel similarly about any Palestinians in Thailand? After all, they voted Hamas in, no? How about the Thai who ultimately are responsible for this undemocratic government. Do you shun them?

I don not feel pity for both sides, due to historical events where even the isrelis have blood on their hands.

but now to close all boarders/8 checkpoints  and make an embargo on foodsuplys ( not only that medicine, oil and do on ) , is inhuman same. are all palestinians guilty? no , same not all isrelis ungility.

this have nothing to do with racist , but if talk anyword aginst israeli. even critics, its already racist, just because of 70 year old history

Then this was fake news yesterday and still is fake news today.

I don't see El Al Airlines shot down. Are you saying that foreign military aircraft  are at a greater risk than the national airline of Israel?

Thailand are going to send military aircraft to repatriate Thai citizens stuck in Israel. But because of the conflict. The only planes allowed over Israeli airspace would be Israeli Planes. In war time you don't clutter up airspace by allowing foreign aircraft into that space when Military jets are flying sorties.

Emirates (!) still flies to Israel. So are other airlines. Most cancelled their flights, though.

Perhaps they don't care about their El Al planes being hit by rockets from wherever.

Or their pilots are braver than other airlines' pilots.

Israeli airspace is open and done flights still operate - just check flight radar 24. Many airlines just stopped their flights to Israel, same as happened in 1991 during desert storm

IF the Israeli government abided by international law regarding the Gaza Strip, the reason for Israeli people wanting to leave Israel right now wouldn’t exist.

Incidentally, blockading the Gaza Strip and preventing food and water is a war crime according to the United Nations.

Which international law regarding the Gaza strip?

And intentionally targetting and blood-cold burning, murdering and kidnapping hundreds innocent civilians, babies, women, children, elders and threathing to execute them while being captives is very much aligned with international laws, right?

Majority of Israeli tourists/backpackers I met on my travels were very rude and unfriendly, was pretty much the consensus with other international backpackers. The women are pretty hot though.

Had similar experiences in various places around the world and I’ll get on with anyone. The travelling in big groups thing.

Don't see the issue with the op though. Under these circumstances, Thai immigration should just offer easy extensions, while there is certainly enough accommodation in the capital to house 10k people at this time.

Are Israelis coming are going. The title claims they are coming & then further down states that all out bound flights to Israel are just about full in which case the numbers of Israelis in the country should be more are less the same?

Exactly, the title is completely contradictory to the article. The title implies that many thousands of Israelis are flocking to Thailand !!! I seriously doubt that, especially from the TAT. That El’Al are repatriating those who wish to go home rapidly, that’s quite normal for any country . So the Thai airports can’t manage the these departure’s, that strictly due to incompetence of airport immigration. After the Tsunami in Phuket thousands of tourists left every day and that wasn’t a problem for the small Phuket airport.

The Gaza Strip borders Israel and Egypt. Egypt maintains a similar regime of restrictions.

So true Egypt closed the boarder at Rafa some years ago, and does not want Hama's spilling into their country.
