The incident occurred at 3:00 PM on October 18th, on Highway 401, near a glove factory in the Kanchanadit district. The wet and uneven road surface, likened to a tortoise’s back, became perilous when rain intensified, reported Thai Rath. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead upon arrival at Kanchanadit Hospital, having succumbed to drowning. fredwiggy Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Coming from Texas, where many try and drive around barriers for low water crossings and either die or end up losing their vehicles. I've never seen so many driving into canals and other waterways. Seems like every week it happens here. In Texas, some think they can drive through moving water, although everyone knows even a big truck can be pushed off the road by moving water a foot deep. Here, its driving off the road into the water.
